CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Policy

  1. Farmer Responsibilities:

    a. The farmer agrees to provide a fair and reasonable share of the harvest to the members who have paid for their shares.

    b. The farmer will use sustainable farming practices and take reasonable measures to protect the crops from damage due to weather, pests, disease, and other factors that are beyond their control.

    c. During times of abundance in the summer, the farmer will share the abundance with the members.

    d. In the event of a crop failure, the farmer will make a reasonable effort to provide alternative crops

  2. Member Responsibilities:

    a. The member agrees to pay for their share of the harvest

    b. The member understands that farming is inherently risky and that crop yields and quality may be affected by factors beyond the farmer's control.

    c. The member will pick up their share of the harvest at the designated time and location, or arrange for someone else to pick it up on their behalf.

  3. Communication:

    a. Both the farmer and the members agree to communicate openly and honestly with each other throughout the growing season.

    b. The farmer will provide regular updates on crop progress and any issues that may affect the harvest.

    c. Members are encouraged to ask questions, and provide feedback

  4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

    1. I understand that once I sign up and pay for my membership in full, I have secured my place in the CSA for the respective season.

There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation of my CSA once purchased. Members may choose to find an alternate person to buy out the rest of the season’s share, and the share ownership will be transferred to the alternate person. The alternate person will pay the original shareholder directly.
